Art in Spain: 7 Independent Galleries in Seville

By Lizzie Davey @Wanderarti · On 24 March, 2015

Ah, Seville. A city with a rich thread of history that dates back thousands of years and through a number of different cultures. The historic centre is a flurry of Moorish architecture, narrow cobbled streets, and age-old flamenco traditions, but there’s also an up and coming art scene that’s taking over. Amongst the rustic laneways and between cosy, family-run cafes, you’ll find an emerging assortment of contemporary art galleries that aim to promote the work of young, local artists, and those from further afield.

If getting under the skin of a city’s art scene is your thing, then this selection of small, white cube galleries are must-visit. Whatever you’re artistic leaning, there’s bound to be an exhibition for you.
